Brainstorm is incredibly excited to be bringing Brain Awareness Week (BAW) to the Berkeley community for the first time EVER! Thanks to the Dana Alliance, we have plenty of brain-themed booklets and goodies that we can't wait to share with the community.
All of our Brain Awareness Week events are listed on our Upcoming Events page. Please join us for the following events:
Monday, March 16: Find our booth on Upper Sproul Plaza at UC Berkeley to learn more about Brain Awareness Week, neuroscience research, and how you can get involved in the field. We will also be distributing Brain Awareness Week freebies!
Tuesday, March 17: Come out to the Primer on Molecular Biology DeCal to learn more about involvement in scientific research from our panel of amazing undergraduate students involved in different sectors of scientific research. We'll be covering information about Brain Awareness Week and neuroscience research in particular.
Friday, March 20: Join us at the North Branch Berkeley Library for a presentation on Aging and the Brain. Neurobiology undergraduate student, Meghan Tahbaz, will be presenting research on dementia and other degenerative neurological disorders. Make sure to grab Successful Aging & Your Brain pamphlets, courtesy of the Dana Alliance!
We're looking forward to an educational and fun Brain Awareness Week with you!
